ONE - The number of ambition, personal energy directed mainly to self-advancement, and - if the negative aspects of the number are dominant - selfishness. Ones can be strong for good, but if they allow their egotism full play, they can be dominating and inconsiderate, even, in extreme cases, cruel.

TWO - The number of femininity in the old fashioned sense of the word. The number often typifies the follower, not the leader, and Two's can tend to be much too easy-going. They are usually good-natured, if a fraction placid. Two's can be over-secretive and somewhat malicious.

THREE - The number of integration, harmony, and wholeness. A typical Three is outgoing, adaptable, popular, and fast thinking. In general they are fortunate and envied by others. They can be showy and egotistical.

FOUR - The number of reliability and steady application. Four's tend to proceed slowly but unstoppably through life, eventually achieving all they want - but often not until middle life. One of their faults is a tendency to bottle up their true emotions.

FIVE - The number of mystery and the unexplainable; Five's often conceal their true selves from others, sometimes living a life that is externally at odds with what is going on inside their heads. Many five's are attracted to things psychic; some of them can be reckless.

SIX - The number of reliability, loyalty, and abiding affection. The personality of the Six - is neither solid nor flashy, but often combining the best elements of both - usually leads to success.

SEVEN - The number of intellectual thought and creative imagination. Seven's are often more interested in their inner than outer lives. They sometimes strike others as being a little withdrawn, and have great difficulty in communicating with their fellow men. They are attracted to spirituality,. on a more serious level.

EIGHT - The number of continuous effort, practical success and, sometimes, unfortunate material failure. The typical Eight is a tireless and dedicated worker and thus achieves success; but a tendency to occasional recklessness, can result in loss of what has been attained. Some Eight's can become extremely bitter persons.

NINE - The number of success on every level, and, sooner or later, Nine's get what they want out of life - materially, intellectually, and emotionally - and accomplish great happiness. They must guard themselves against a tendency to try to dominate the lives of others. They also have a tendency to be over enthusiastic and may be a little changeable about their aims in life.
