Dice Divination.

Basic. Complex. Omens.

Basic.

To divine with dice, use three rather than two. Draw a circle 20cm in diameter. Mix the dice in a cup or your hand and cast them into the circle. If all three dice fall outside the circle, try again. If this happens a second time abandon the reading and try again the following day.

The basic reading consists of adding the numbers and consulting the list given below. If one dice falls outside the oracle it indicates a block to the developments shown in the reading. If two dice fall outside the circle they warn of possible quarrels. However, if one or more fall outside the number within adds up to less than three, the dice have nothing to say.

  1. Unexpected but favourable developments.
  2. Disappointments or discontent.
  3. Something you want will come to you but Possibly in an unexpected way, you might Receive good news.
  4. Discouragement, especially in business.
  5. Delays, possibly trouble through gossip.
  6. Strong influences from outside.
  7. An omen of love and harmony, if after a quarrel, reconciliation.
  8. Birth, promotions, new beginnings.
  9. Parting with a loved one.
  10. A letter bringing you good news.
